I'm doing my annual wander to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario this week and will be once again trying to blog each show as I go. I don't know quite what I'm seeing, because I've only bought one ticket out of the nine shows of interest. The rest will be rush tickets, which I've had great luck with the past couple of years.
Other than that, I'll be sitting by the river, reading and relaxing, hitting my favorite used bookstore and Callan's Books for mysteries, and generally having a lovely, quiet, non-stressful time.
But today is a long day's journey across New York state, hopefully with less excitement than two years ago at the crossing.
I have this idea for a Twilight Zone story about a woman trapped not in the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge, but between the Canadian and American borders.

Have a wonderful, well-deserved, time.

Enjoy! I look forward to reading your reports. My husband and I saw As You Like It earlier this year, and we have tickets for The Tempest and Do Not Go Gentle in September.
By the way, do you follow Stratford on Facebook and Twitter? They offer a number of deals:* our tickets for As You Like It cost $10.41 each, and there have been offers less expensive than that. They even offered some free tickets for The Tempest on the dates they were filming it.
* At least it sounds like they do it on Facebook too: I've never used it, but I believe you've mentioned that you do. I follow their public Twitter account on RSS.

Hi! Just a quick note -- terrible net connection here. I am going to have to write offline and post whenever I can get a decent connection.
Belgian waffles for breakfast, nice campsite after some fussing, sunny weather, and a great show last night. Life is good!
